ICF Definition of Mentor Coaching

Group Coaching

To help you continue to develop as a coach, and to fulfil the ICF requirement 10 hours of mentor coaching hours need for professional accreditation, Novo Coaching is now pleased to offer a special Mentor Coaching Group which will be facilitated by Kim Zovak, PCC, or John Rietveld, ACC. You will benefit from the group learning environment and refine your coaching core competencies.
In accordance with the ICF requirements, this group will meet over a 3-month period, which will include:
  • 7 hours (5 x 90min sessions) of group mentoring calls;
  • 3 hours of 1-1 mentor coaching calls (one call each month);
You will benefit from the synergy and collaborative learning which happens in a group environment, while still getting 1-1 personalized coaching – and, you get the most cost-effective to meet your ICF mentor coaching requirement for accreditation. Group size is limited to 5 coaches to ensure individualized attention, minimum 3 participants.

The program will include:
  • Focus on each of the ICF’s Core Coaching Competencies
  • Self assessments of each competency
  • Identification of your strengths, and blind spots as a coach
  • Specific action steps to hone and refine your core coaching competencies
  • 7 hours of group mentor coaching
  • 3 hours of individual mentor-coaching
  • 2 letters of support, based on your successful demonstration of the core competencies, and completion of the 10 hours.
Cost: $800 per participant

Individual Mentor Coaching

To help you continue to develop as a coach, and to fulfil the ICF requirement 10 hours of mentor coaching hours need for professional accreditation, Novo Coaching also offers Individual Mentor Coaching which will be conducted by Kim Zovak, PCC, or John Rietveld, ACC. You will benefit from individual attention, increased learning and refine your coaching core competencies.

In accordance with the ICF requirements, this individual sessions will meet over a 3-month period, which will include:
  • 10 hours of 1-1 mentor coaching calls (10 x 60minute sessions)
The program will include:
  • Focus on each of the ICF’s Core Coaching Competencies
  • Self assessments of each competency
  • Identification of your strengths, and blind spots as a coach
  • Specific action steps to hone and refine your core coaching competencies
  • 10 hours of individual mentor-coaching
  • 2 letters of support, based on your successful demonstration of the core competencies, and completion of the 10 hours.
Cost: $1300

ICF Reference Letter

If you have already received your mentor coaching hours elsewhere but require an ICF accredited coach to provide you an additional recommendation letter. The letter requires that the mentor coach hear you coach; therefore the regular coaching session fee applies per session/per letter.
This would include:
  • A letter of support, based on your successful demonstration of the core competencies of ICF
  • Brief debrief and evaluation of your coaching
